The world premiere of this surprising new programme took place on Saturday evening, 22 November, at Concertzaal Tilburg, performed by Harmonie Kunst Adelt from Hapert, of course featuring soloist Bernd van den Bos, as part of the concert series Verrassende Ontmoetingen (Surprising Encounters). It is a show of approximately 50 minutes that can be booked together with pianist Bernd van den Bos. Bernd van den Bos
Bernd van den Bos is a pianist, bandleader, improviser, and songwriter. He surprises audiences with exciting improvisations and writes compositions with a playful twist. His playing style is lyrical and classical, featuring unexpected chord progressions and humorous improvisations—such as Sinterklaas songs in the style of Mozart and classical piano variations on music by Freddie Mercury and Queen. His sources of inspiration range from Louis van Dijk to Freddie Mercury. He performs with various well-known artists and has appeared on several popular television shows.
